VOLUNTEER SCHOLARSHIP READER
UCEAP alumni are invited to participate in scholarship application reviews. Use your experience of studying in another country to review scholarship applications from students preparing to go abroad. Application readers are an integral part of our selection process. After completing a short training orientation, readers will evaluate and score applications from the comfort of their own home. To read and score applications you only need a computer or tablet with access to the internet. Volunteers usually spend 3-6 hours reading and scoring applications. Reviews will take place in three cycles: March 1-15; April 1-15; and October 1-15. Sign-ups will begin approximately two months before the review period and close a week before the cycle begins.
We receive over 2,500 scholarship applications and distribute over 500 awards each year. As alumni, you can stay involved with UCEAP and help the dream of studying abroad come true for hundreds of students. Without the generosity of alumni volunteers, it would not be possible to fulfill our mission. UCEAP thanks you for your hard work, commitment, and enthusiasm. Check out the Scholarship Reader Honor Roll today!
