When you build a connection with UCEAP, you’re making a difference for our community - and there are countless ways to do it. You can volunteer to be a scholarship reviewer, become a mentor for recent graduates, nominate an alum for our distinguished alumni award, attend a networking event, reconnect with fellow alumni, or support current students with a donation to our scholarship program.
Volunteer
Become a scholarship reader or UCEAP Connect ambassador. Use your experience of studying abroad to help review scholarship applications or become an ambassador and inspire students and alumni with photos and stories from your own time abroad.
Attend an event
From virtual trivia events to our UCEAP Presents lecture series, the UCEAP alumni team hosts a variety of events online and in California. There is something for everyone. Brose the UCEAP Alumni Calendar to see what is going on this month.

Nominate a friend or colleague for one of our alumni awards. Our Distinguished Alumni are world-changers, and bring distinction to themselves and UC through their professional and civic achievements.

UCEAP Connect
UCEAP Connect is our official online community for anyone with a connection to UCEAP. Whether it's reconnecting with old friends (or making new ones), sharing photos, mentoring young alumni, or attending alumni events, you can find it all on UCEAP Connect.
- Find and reminisce with fellow alumni, see what they have been up to and stay in touch
- Introduce, employ and offer to act as a mentor to our current students
- Use your network to get introduced to people and opportunities
