"Even at the time in which I applied to study abroad, or while researching my new home for the semester in Florence, and while planning out my trips and schedule of all the things I was going to do during my time there, there was simply no way for me to prepare myself for the indescribable and by far most unique experience of my entire life. The people, the places, and the experiences that I encountered in my time there were nothing but the most exciting things I’ve been able to do in my lifetime. And the opportunity to document the experience on video, as someone who has dreamed of making travel videos ever since they first traveled internationally as a 12-year-old and filmed the whole thing on his ancient phone, was nothing but a dream come true.
