During global situations, UCEAP considers canceling programs on a program-by-program basis based on a rigorous assessment process. Conditions are still fluid and could change. Further programs could still be canceled by the partner university or by UCEAP.
Stay up-to-date on visa issuance, travel restrictions, quarantine in host countries, or other requirements as they could change.

March 21, 2021: On July 15, the University of California released the final details of the COVID-19 Vaccination Program. As a condition of Physical Presence at a Location or in a University Program, all Covered Individuals must participate in the COVID-19 Vaccination Program by either being fully vaccinated, or receiving an approved Exception or Deferral.

February 18, 2022: The University of California Office of the President waived our immediate obligation to cancel spring programs based on UCEAP’s program cancelation policy and is allowing UCEAP to consider operating on a program-by-program basis based on a rigorous assessment process.
Conditions are still fluid and could change due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Further programs could still be canceled by the partner university or by UCEAP.
