You are invited to join us via Zoom on Thursday, September 14 at noon PT, for a special UCEAP Presents featuring Andrew Kramer.

UC Santa Cruz, University of Copenhagen, Denmark (1992). Andrew E. Kramer is the New York Times bureau chief in Kyiv—reporting from the dangerous front lines in Ukraine. In 2017, he and his NYT colleague scooped up the Pulitzer Prize for their reportage on Russian interference in the 2016 US presidential election. His range of coverage is incredible. For example, he’s reported on climate change in the Arctic, the oil industry and economic reforms in post-Soviet states. From 2007 until 2011, he reported in Iraq on occasional assignments. He holds a bachelor’s in history from the UC Santa Cruz and a master’s in history from Oxford University. Kramer is a journalist who takes reportage to the ultimate level in all his work
